 Annual Activities Report 2020-2021

 

1.      Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the society is out of action for ample time.

 

2.      Submitted EOI to MSACS, GoM, in response to NACO Funding Link Workers Scheme (LWS) and Targeted Intervention (TI) Project in all Districts of Mizoram.

Selected to implement Targeted Intervention (TI) - Injecting Drug Users (IDU) Project in Hnahthial, Project commenced from December 2020.

 

3.      Annual Review Meeting followed by Christmas Charity Christmas Charity Program in Tlawng Kai, Reiek Road on Dt. 20th December 2020. Ten (10) Governing Members attended the Meeting.

One family is given financial aid as Christmas present.

 

4.      Annual Action Plan Meeting on Dt. 6th January 2021. Thirteen (13) Governing Members attended the Meeting.

 

5.      Submitted EOI to Green-Ag, SPMU, Agriculture Department, GoM, in response to GEF-FAO Funding Research Projects in Mamit and Lunglei Districts.

Selected to undertake State Policy Dialogue on Natural Resource Management and Human-Wildlife Conflict at Pre-Selected Villages in Dampa Tiger Reserve and Thorang Wildlife Sanctuary, Projects commenced from March 2021.

1.  Continuing Targeted Intervention (TI) - Injecting Drug Users (IDU) Project in Hnahthial under NACO/MSACS. The project commenced from December 2020, extended in June 2021. There are 12 project staff, 11 for DIC and 1 for Sub-DIC. 2. Selected to undertake two research projects viz. State Policy Dialogue on Natural Resource Management and Human-Wildlife Conflict at Pre-Selected Villages in Dampa Tiger Reserve and Thorang Wildlife Sanctuary under Green-Ag, SPMU, Agriculture Department, Government of Mizoram. Projects commenced from March 2021, expected to complete within a year, but couldn’t due to Covid-19 pandemic, round to be finished by May 2022.   Annual Activities Report 2017-2018   1.       The society participated in ‘Stakeholder Meeting on Study on Revival of North eastern Regional Agricultural Marketing Corporation Limited (NERAMAC) ’ . Organized by North East Development Finance Corporation Limited (NEDFi). Dt. 24 th July 2017, at Aijal Club, Aizawl.   2.       The society participated in ‘Promotion of World Food India 2017 & KISAN SAMPADA YOJANA – The Scheme of Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI). Organized by Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India. Dt. 26 th July 2017, at Regency Hotel; Conference Hall, Aizawl.   3.       The society participated in ‘Orientation Program of Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) under Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region (MOVCD-NER)’.
